Working Together to Make Change

As attorneys and legal professionals, we have a heightened responsibility to strategically engage in the fight for racial justice and dismantling of systemic oppression.  Each effort must be evaluated for the ability to influence real change and encourage equity in the law. 

The Black Female Attorneys Network Law Firm Partner Pledge is designed for firms and legal networks who want to partner in our efforts to make a long-term commitment to this work. 

Law Firm Pledge Commitments: 

• Participate in the BFA in-house attorney training program to develop and support Black attorney partnership and firm ownership in the legal practice.
• Make a financial commitment to pipeline program designed to expose high school and college students to the practice of law and racial, economic, and financial literacy education.
• Agree to participate in a “Quality Index Score” process by sharing firm information on Black attorney representation and leadership  
• Take our hiring pledge to create strategic inclusion, equitable employment and partnership opportunities for Black attorneys.
